Open Science: Basic Principles

The registration is now open for the training course. At the end of the program, you will receive an open badge, more information here. The aim of the training course, divided into three modules over 3 days.

Extended weekend opening hours at the BICF Library

From Saturday, 7 February 2026, the Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Sciences Library (BICF) will extend its weekend opening hours: Saturday and Sunday, 9-20.

University Library Service – spring course calendar 2026

The list of courses offered by the University Library Service in spring 2026 is now online. These courses focus on the use of databases, and are open to the entire University community.

Hygiene kits available on campus

The University of Milan offers the entire university community hygiene and first-aid products, such as band-aids, sanitary pads, disinfectant and sterile dressings. These products are given out for free on a need basis, upon request.

Students and teachers participate in programme quality policies through regular monitoring and assessment activities based on indicators provided by the Ministry of Education (MIUR).

As Quality Assurance policies and procedures are student-centred. Inline with this the University has provided a training course divided into 4 modules for the students of the University.
